Kenn Kunze

Kenn Kunze, of IC Fire Prevention LLC, is a retired Battalion Chief with 30 years of experience in the Combat Division of the Fort Wayne Indiana Fire Department. As an incident commander, Chief Kunze fought to save property and life. He saw the tragedy first-hand and his passion for fire prevention was forged at those incidents. As an NFPA-certified Fire Inspector-I, he has worked in the recycled materials industry since 2015 to identify fire risk and promote fire prevention management practices. Chief Kunze assisted in developing the ISRI “Guide to Creating Fire Prevention and Management Plan” and has a proven track record of helping to reduce fire risk throughout the recycled materials industry.
Dalan Zartman

Dalan Zartman has spent 25 years assigned to an urban heavy rescue as a firefighter – technical rescue specialist and paramedic. As the COO of the Energy Security Agency, he is responsible for overseeing operations at one of the world’s leading lithium-ion battery destructive research labs. He has performed thousands of large-scale battery tests and leads the ESA team in translating that real world knowledge into training programs and services to equip professionals around the world to interact with Electric Vehicles, li-ion batteries, and stationary storage systems in a safe and effective manner.
Dirk Fuchs

With nearly 20 years of automotive experience, Dirk Fuchs is a recognized industry subject-matter expert in EV and ADAS technology. He has been a featured speaker and panelist at automotive industry events,and has been active in supporting automotive-related associations surrounding national and state legislative activities. His passion for the automotive industry began in 2002 as a technical training specialist/instructor for Volkswagen Germany. Recruited by ZF Services, Germany, a global technology and supplies system provider offering automated driving and electric mobility solutions for manufacturers and newly emerging transport and mobility service providers, Fuchs’ responsibilities over the next 13 years included international technical service and sales training management. In his spare time, he spends time with his family. Fuchs is an outdoor person and likes biking.
