Salient
was selected after a lengthy Request for Proposal, review, and interview
process. A number of upgrades to the
system are in the works. One upgrade
involves working with Salient and representatives from the FBI’s Criminal
Justice Information Services (CJIS) and the Regional Information Sharing System
(RISS). ReMA hopes to partner with CJIS
and RISS to make STA readily available to a much broader law enforcement
audience accessing these systems. This
work is being done as part of the existing contract with Salient.
