Abe Brenner & Ken Iverson Scholarship

Each year, the Southeast Region awards scholarships of $1,250 each to selected students. The scholarship is open to any dependent of an employee of an ReMA Southeast Region Member Company in good standing for College or Vocational School.

2024-2025 Academic Year Award

Thank you for your interest in the Southeast Region Abe Brenner & Ken Iverson Scholarship. This award is for $1,250 in the 2024-2025 academic year (split over fall/spring). The SE Scholarship Fund provides $750 toward the scholarship and the company sponsoring the applicant provides an additional $500 should the applicant receive a scholarship.

Before applying, you must receive approval from the ReMA Member Company that is willing to support the applicant. Please carefully review the “Sponsor Company Addendum” for more details on the scholarship and further breakdown of funding.

Additional Entry Details

Please read the following carefully before submitting your application.

1. All applicants MUST complete the online form.
2. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
3. Deadline: May 30, 2024

The checklist must be complete for maximum consideration:

  • Official transcript of high school and/or college grades
  • Standardized Test Scores: SAT and /or ACT (high school only)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Complete Scholarship/Financial Application
  • Signed, completed Sponsor Company Addendum

2023 SE Scholarship Winners

Southeast Region selected a record 23 students as winners in its 2023 scholarship program. Each student received $1,250 to apply toward tuition at any College or Vocational School of their choice.
