I am the Executive Vice President at Potential Industries, where I have worked for 30+ years recycling post-consumer materials, including but not limited to: MRF operations; team leader in the selection and installation of over $50m MRF equipment including two greenfield MRFs and four MRF major upgrades; expertise in domestic and export marketing of MRF sorted recyclables; experience as an end user with 100% recycled paper mill; experience designing, installing, and operating a glass beneficiating plant creating high quality cullet from buyback center glass and MRF glass; leadership role in various permitting and regulatory compliance matters; cardboard supply chain reverse logistics including trans-loading and rail; 13 years experience managing a facility operating contract for Recycling Center and MRF owned by a municipality; sourcing commingled materials directly with numerous Cities and haulers; familiar with and experience operating MRF sorting equipment from three of the largest OEM equipment providers; awareness of how MRF sorted materials are actually consumed by end users; monitoring and participating as a stakeholder in Extended Producer Responsibility programs in CO, OR, and CA; and education includes PhD environmental policy, MBA, and Bachelor degree in Economics.
