New ReMA Member Spotlight: Jansen Recycling Group

Based in Dordrecht, Netherlands, Jansen Recycling Group is a family-owned business since 1930 with three brothers leading the charge of 150 employees. The company is active in worldwide purchasing, processing, and selling of ferrous and nonferrous materials. After the recycling, they supply the materials to metal producers, processors, and smelters around the globe where they are used as secondary raw materials.

ReMA News had the opportunity to chat with Nour Eddine El Moussati, Sales Manager at Jansen Recycling Group to talk about the company, their decision to re-join ReMA and what they’re looking forward to as a ReMA member.

Can you tell me about the company?

With our recent re-entry into ReMA, we are actively exploring new relationships in the U.S. market. Our goal is straightforward: to connect, exchange expertise, and explore how we can deliver lasting value to each other’s operations.

Jansen Recycling Group is a family-owned recycling company based in the Netherlands. Active since 1930, the company is now run by the third generation—with the fourth already stepping in. Over the years, we’ve grown into one of the prominent players in the Dutch recycling industry, managing the largest yard in Northwestern Europe and operating from two strategic waterfront locations along the main shipping corridor to the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp.

We operate our own shredding installation and serve as a trusted supplier to many of the world’s leading processors, remelters, and foundries.

Our core activities include both ferrous and nonferrous recycled materials, but our scope goes beyond trade. We specialize in the dismantling and decommissioning of large industrial assets—including seagoing vessels, offshore platforms, and wind turbines—leveraging our heavy-duty infrastructure and waterfront access to handle complex projects safely and efficiently.

How did you decide to rejoin ReMA?

Rejoining ReMA aligns with our international focus—particularly because the U.S. market is increasingly influential in the global nonferrous and recycled materials industry. For us, ReMA remains the central platform to connect with serious and like-minded partners in the region. This is the right moment for us to re-engage so we can stay ahead of market developments.

What are you most looking forward to about rejoining ReMA?

With the 2026 convention ahead, we see it as the ideal moment to meet people face-to-face and establish direct contacts. ReMA gives us access to the end-users we want to work with, and by rejoining we show that we’re entering the U.S. market through official and reputable channels — supported by our long track record as a reliable and long-term supplier. It’s a straightforward way for us to introduce ourselves to the right companies and explore durable partnerships.
