Returning Exhibitors to ReMA Conventions: Cyclic Materials

From April 13 to 16, ReMA2026 – The Show is taking over Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and bringing together industry professionals in the recycling community to sharpen their skills, gain knowledge, build relationships, grow their businesses, and celebrate each other.

This year there’s a sold-out show floor featuring plenty of new and returning exhibitors ready to showcase or demonstrate the latest recycling equipment, technological advancements, and more.

What makes an exhibitor decide to return to ReMA conventions year after year? ReMA News spoke with returning exhibitor Eric Downer, Director of End-of-Life Feedstock at Cyclic Materials, about what the company is looking forward to at ReMA2026 and what made their first ReMA convention stand out.

Tell me about the company and your operations.

Cyclic Materials is a clean tech company that has developed technology to extract and recycle rare earth elements from end-of-life products like hybrid transmissions, EV drive motors, MRI machines, and even wind turbines.

We’re tackling one of the biggest hurdles in the North American manufacturing supply chain. Currently, less than 1% of rare earth elements are recycled, yet the market demands for rare earth and critical minerals are soaring, with its supply chain resilience become a key issue today. It’s our mission to bring education on the importance of recycling rare earth elements locally, and to showcase how we can strengthen supply faster than mining these materials.

What are you looking forward to as an exhibitor at ReMA2026?

This will be Cyclic Materials’ second year exhibiting at ReMA’s annual convention. I’ve attended in the past as an attendee as well.

We’re excited to meet with many of our new and existing vendors and suppliers who attend the convention every year. It’s also an opportunity for us to discuss our plans to grow as a company, strengthen our partnerships, and explore how we can generate extra value in recycling with our patented technologies MagCycleSM and REEPureSM.

Last year was Cyclic Materials’ first time exhibiting at a ReMA convention. What was your experience like at last year’s convention. What stood out to you from ReMA2025?

It was a great first year for Cyclic Materials as an exhibitor. The show floor was consistently busy, and booth traffic kept us engaged with current and potential customers that were keen to work with us. From the registration process to the show breakdown, ReMA makes the process easy for us as an exhibitor.

ReMA2025 was a very successful conference for us in developing our relationships with fellow members. In addition to the incredible message from keynote speaker Jesse Cole and the closing event entertainment at the Rady Shell, what really stood out to us was how helpful ReMA members are to one another, the quality conversations you get to have, and industry insights that are crucial to moving forward with the industry.

We are excited to return because ReMA consistently puts on an outstanding show and brings together the right mix of equipment manufacturers, recyclers, and traders. With the many educational seminars and high-caliber keynote speakers, ReMA National has truly become a must attend event on the Cyclic Materials’ annual calendar.

What are you excited to show attendees from Cyclic Materials at this year’s convention?

We’re thrilled to highlight how significantly Cyclic Materials has advanced over the last few years. We began as a startup in 2021 and have rapidly ramped up into full commercialization of our rare earth recycling process. So, we’re achieving the scale that makes a significant impact, and we’re able to partner with more end-of-life suppliers than ever before. We’re looking forward to sharing how our technology can help companies around the world unlock great value from recovering materials and strengthening their bottom line.

Is there anything else you want members to know about Cyclic Materials?

Swing by our booth (#2125) to connect with any of us on the team. We’re excited to talk to anyone and discuss the types of materials our Mesa, Arizona plant can process and what extra value we can bring to customers.

We just announced our expansion to establish a rare earth recycling campus in McBee, South Carolina. The new site will host Cyclic Materials’ second U.S. Spoke and our largest hub recycling facility to date.
