This course is designed for any workers who need to understand how to follow lockout/tagout procedures during equipment maintenance and repair. During equipment or machinery maintenance, there is a danger of workers being injured by stored energy, or by someone reactivating the machine or equipment. These kinds of accidents can cause severe injury or even death. Lockout/tagout is a method to ensure all workers stay safe by preventing accidental start-up or the release of stored energy. When learners have successfully completed this course, they should be able to recognize the importance of proper lockout/tagout procedures and the roles involved and also identify lockout/tagout related equipment.

Safety awareness is the first step in creating a culture of safety in your workplace.

This course equips participants with targeted training on safe operations with forklifts. It covers safe traveling and loading and will teach you how to recognize the risks forklifts pose to pedestrians and the proper safety measures to follow.

The course is available to be taught in English by an ReMA Safety Outreach trainer. The materials are available in both English and Spanish. The ReMA Safety Outreach trainer is able to co-teach alongside with a translator you provide if necessary.

A new Safety Culture Training class for managers and supervisors has recently been developed. It focuses on the elements of Management Leadership, Employee Engagement and Accountability.
