This highly informative course is designed to equip recycling and dismantling professionals with the critical knowledge, skills and abilities to safely interact with electric vehicles and Li-ion batteries. Students will receive ESA certificates of completion and IMI certification for battery pack removal and handling. The course structure provides a high energy and interactive balance of classroom and academic sessions with practical hands-on labs at the state of the art ESA lab. The NEW additional section of this class (the advanced safety trainer) is a highly informative course is designed to equip recycling and dismantling supervisors with the critical knowledge, skills and abilities to safely develop and implement protocols and procedures for safely interacting with electric vehicles. Students will receive ESA certificates of completion.

Please note that we do not have hotel blocks for this event. The nearest lodging options are in Marysville and Delaware, and we’ve included several hotel links in those areas for your reference. Because of the sites location, rideshare availability can be limited and unreliable.

Agenda

This will be a two-day class from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm each day. The class participants will be divided into two groups. On Day 1 Group 1 will complete the EV & Li-ion Safety track and Group 2 will complete the Battery Pack Removal & Handling track. On Day 2 Group 2 will complete the EV & Li-ion Safety track and Group 1 will complete the Battery Pack Removal & Handling track.
