This is a Town Hall discussion on the proposed Union Pacific–Norfolk Southern merger and its potential impacts for the recycled materials industry. We reviewed anticipated changes, implications for captive shippers, and ReMA’s planned engagement with the Surface Transportation Board. This session also gathered member feedback to help guide ReMA’s advocacy approach moving forward.
