ReMA’s 2026 Safety Stand Down Week (SSDW) is August 10-16. During this week, ReMA invites all recyclers to join us by dedicating time during each shift to building safer workplaces across the recycled materials industry. Coinciding with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Safe + Sound Week, ReMA’s 2026 Safety Stand Down Week resources focus on fire hazard recognition and response.
