Neil Byce
Vice-Chair
CW Metals Monticello, MNNeil Byce is Co-Owner of CW Metals and Nordic Metals located in Minnesota. While having been in the business for 10 years, these recycling businesses are relatively new. His partner, Grant VanWyngeeren, owns Crow Wing Recycling along with being partner in both Nordic and CW Metals.
Prior to this, Neil served as CFO for Holmes Recycling Services located in Minnesota. Neil has been involved with the Northwest Chapter for six years serving in multiple roles. Currently, Neil is the President of the Northwest Chapter.
Neil also serves ReMA (formerly ISRI) National as Vice-Chair of the Finance Committee and Chair of the Investment Committee.
Originally from Northern Ohio, Neil moved to Minnesota to attend college and was drawn to stay in Minnesota. Both parents are from there and it was a natural fit as they spent summers there as a family as he was growing up. He attended the University of Minnesota where he met his wife, Amber. He has two children; Sawyer (12) and Landry (9).
His commitment to his community is extremely important. He has served a school board in northern Minnesota for six years as the Vice-chair, Chair, and currently as past Chair. He served as Treasurer and Vice Chair of the Mesabi YMCA.
